TeamAnteo 2004

On March 4, 2004, Anteo Group announced the launch of TeamAnteo, an ongoing community involvement campaign. TeamAnteo extends Passionate about People to the community through charity and association involvement as well as sponsorship.

The TeamAnteo campaign includes Anteo Group employee participation in at least one charity event and two associations per quarter. Of course, Anteo Group urges employees to go above and beyond the initial goals. Anteo Group as a company will sponsor at least one association and/or charity per year.

Although Anteo Group and its employees participate in numerous associations around Metro Atlanta, and Anteo Group is currently a sponsor of the Atlanta Java User Group, TeamAnteo is a concerted effort to increase contributions to the Atlanta community.

Philanthropies:
This holiday season, Anteo Group adopted a family from the Atlanta Children's Shelter. Employees donated items off of the family's "wish list," delivered the items to the family and any other tasks needed by the family in preparation for the holidays. We were thrilled to be partnering with the Atlanta Children's Shelter again!

During the month of August, Anteo Group employees volunteered each Friday morning at the Atlanta Children's Shelter. Employees helped foster the shelter's positive environment by reading, playing or teaching at the Atlanta Children's Shelter.

Anteo Group's first philanthropic event was the Hands on Atlanta Technology Day held on March 20, 2004. Anteo Group employees installed educational software and painted murals for Humpries Elementary School in Atlanta. Fox5 News covered the event at Humpries Elementary School and aired the story on Saturday's 6:00pm news. To view the news clip, click here.

Sponsorships:
On December 6, 2004, Anteo Group sponsored the Sales and Marketing Executives Atlanta: DECA & PSE Student Scholarship Fundraiser. This event provided the perfect opportunity to network with other sales and marketing executives while donating money to a great cause - scholarships for our future sales and marketing professionals.

Anteo Group was a proud Program Sponsor of the 2004 Georgia CIO of the Year Awards presented by the Georgia CIO Leadership Association (GCLA) on October 28, 2004. The ceremony honors chief information officers, or executives in equivalent positions, who have shown excellence in managing their organization's enterprise-wide information systems and significantly impacted Georgia business.

Anteo Group partnered with other members of Atlanta's technology community to sponsor WIT Connect 2004, an annual networking and auction event hosted by Women in Technology (WIT), a founding society of the Technology Association of Georgia (TAG). Anteo Group was a Silver Level sponsor of WIT Connect 2004, which offered lunch meetings with CIOs, CTOs and other key technology decision makers from Atlanta's business community; auctioned off in live and silent auction formats.
