In 2004, Anteo Group announced the launch of TeamAnteo, an ongoing community involvement and sponsorship campaign. Due to the success and participation of TeamAnteo, Anteo Group is maintaining the past events and organizations as well as adding new ones. Below are the philanthropies, sponsorships and memberships of TeamAnteo 2005, but feel free to visit the 2004 log.
Philanthropies:
During the holiday season, Anteo Group partnered with the Atlanta Children's Shelter for the second year in a row. Anteo Group employees provided items from clothing to toys to bedding and much more for the Shelter's Holiday House.
Anteo Group's Texas office attended The Special Olympics Fourth Annual "The Power of the Dream"
Black Tie Gala on November 12, 2005 at the Wyndham Anatole in Dallas, Texas. This event is Special Olympics Texas - Greater Dallas' largest fundraiser of the year. The evening began with a VIP Reception followed by the Gala, which included dinner, a formal presentation for award recipients, bidding for silent and live auction items and live entertainment.
For the second year, TeamAnteo participated in the MS Walk, benefiting the National Multiple Sclerosis Society. The MS Walk took place in Atlanta on April 16th.
In addition to the MS Walk, Anteo Group donated to the American Heart Association, Foster Care Support Foundation, the American Red Cross Tsumani Relief Fund and the American Red Cross South Asia Earthquake Response & Development Fund.
Sponsorships:
Anteo Group sponsored the Women in Cable & Telecommunications (WICT) 10th Annual Golf & Tennis Tournament on August 29th at the White Columns Country Club. WICT (Women in Cable & Telecommunications) is a national non-profit that helps provide women with the skills and resources to advance within the cable and telecommunications industry. The proceeds of this event went to support the PAR initiative and local programming. The PAR initiative is a national campaign to establish Pay Equity, Advancement Opportunities and Resources for Work-Life Balance. WICT local programming includes professional speakers, seminars and mentoring programs.
Anteo Group once again partnered with other members of Atlanta's
technology community to sponsor WIT Connect, an annual networking
and auction event hosted by Women in Technology (WIT), a founding society
of the Technology Association of Georgia (TAG). Anteo Group was a Silver
Level sponsor of WIT Connect 2005, which offered lunch meetings with
CIOs, CTOs and other key technology decision makers from Atlanta's business
community; auctioned off in live and silent auction formats.
Anteo Group sponsored the 2005 ChoicePoint Windward Challenge Charity Run/Walk on May 4th. The event supported the North Fulton Chapter of Habitat for Humanity.
Anteo Group renewed its yearly sponsorship for the Atlanta Java Users Group (AJUG). In addition to the yearly sponsorship, Anteo Group sponsored AJUG DevCon on May 25th, the AJUG conference for professional software developers.

Anteo Group employees are involved in numerous organizations, such as the Georgia Chamber to Commerce, Metro Atlanta Chamber of Commerce, Technology Association of Georgia, Public Relations Society of America, Atlanta Java Users Group, and other countless user groups that our recruiters attend!
